About

Hi there! I am Amandine and welcome to Little Big Explorations. A small corner of the web where you will find stories about mountains, adventures and sunsets.

Little Big Explorations is a cocktail made of my three big passions: outdoors, sport and travel.

About Little Big Explorations

I have been wanted to be a writer for as long as I remember. I had a few blogs over the years and though it remains “just” a hobby, writing brings perspective in my life.

On Little Big Explorations, I write “with sweat and passion”. My curiosity and burning desire to try new things and explore brought me to the top Huayna Potosi (6088m) in Boliviacomplete a 90km cross country skiing race, try cold water swimming, trek in amazing places and recently to complete my first ironman.

I share stories to inspire readers for their next escapade and practical information and tips to make it happen, because the best part of dreams is to make them come true!

And at the end of the day, your feet should be dirty, your hair messy and your eyes sparkling.

To the infinity and beyond!

New to the site?

There are more than a hundred articles on the blog about activities on foot, in the snow, in water, on a bike or challenges to compete, all with really good reasons to try travel adventure.
